Converse. And Bond with the Best

Conversations are great. If you've watched 'The Man From Earth', you'd instantly agree about the impact of meaningful and powerful conversations. In an age of smartphone driven instant messaging, SLR camera driven 'photos speaking louder than words' trend and routine driven mechanical acts, it is really hard to find some time, pick up the phone, call a friend, find them free and just talk on. Conversations without any specific motives, they sometimes lead to very interesting things.
One such conversation with a friend lead to the following:

 Sometimes things appear so down that it feels like life is The Man with the Golden Gun, possessing a Licence to Kill and looking for A View to a Kill. Now I'm not saying we all possess a Goldfinger to wag and scare The Living Daylights out of whatever is troubling us. But you should just understand that your life is strictly For Your Eyes Only. No other external Dr.No can impart negativity in your life if you realize that Diamonds Are Forever.

Check out the quote again. Apparently, You Only Live Twice. Just learn to Never Say Never Again. Grab a Thunderball, become a Moonraker and stare into life with a Goldeneye. After all, Tomorrow Never Dies, and if you can manage to find a Quantum of Solace in everything, even at Skyfall, then surely, The World is Not Enough !!

Conversations eh, they really make you 'bond' with the best !

சிறுவயதில் உறங்குவதற்கு முன் சிறிது நேரம் பாட்டியுடன் ஏதாவது கதை பேசிவிட்டு (அல்லது கேட்டுவிட்டு) உறங்குவது வழக்கம். சில விஷயங்களை தாய் தந்தையுடன் பகிர்ந்து கொள்வதை விட பாட்டியுடன் பகிர்வதில் ஒருவித மகிழ்ச்சி. பள்ளியில் மறுநாள் ஏதாவது போட்டி அல்லது பரீட்சை என்றால் அடிவயிற்றில் பட்டாம்பூச்சி பறப்பது இயல்பு தானே. அப்படிப்பட்ட தருணங்களில் "பாட்டி, நாளைக்கு ஸ்கூல்ல டெஸ்ட் இருக்கு. பயம்மா இருக்கு." என்று கூறினால் தவறாமல் வரும் பதில், "எதுக்கு பயப்படணும் ? நீ ஏமாத்தல, பொய் சொல்லல, திருடல. இது எதுவும் பண்ணாதவன் எதுக்கும் பயப்பட வேண்டாம்." எவ்வளவு பெரிய விஷயத்தை எவ்வளவு அனாயாசமாக சொல்லிவிட்டாள்! வாழ்க்கையில் சில மலைக்க வைக்கும் தருணங்களிலும், பெரிய நெருக்கடி தரும் தொல்லைகள் வந்த போதிலும், பயம் என்ற ஒன்று சற்று எட்டி பார்க்கும் நேரத்தில் எல்லாம், ஒரு மந்திரம் போல தைரியம் கொடுத்த வார்த்தைகள் அவை.  சிறுவயது முதல் பல கஷ்ட நஷ்டங்களை அனுபவித்து இருந்தாலும், அவைகளைத்தாண்டி எப்பொழுதும் தனக்கும் தன்னை சுற்றி இருப்பவர்களுக்கும் ஒரு  ஆக்கபூர்வமான சூழ்நிலையை உருவாக்கிக்  கொள்வதில் கெட்

Though there is a popular belief that Chennai's weather can be classified into only three categories, (hot, hotter and hottest !!), the climate prevailing now is just perfect for the festive season, and people like me having a pre -exam vacation. Waking up in the morning and instantly feeling a cool breeze from the other side of the window caress the face is a real pleasure. The pleasure doubles when I know I can fall back to the bed, this time covering my face with blanket, and realizing there is no college to prevent me from snugly curling up and going back to sleep again. Hot coffee at 8, sitting in the balcony and watching the sun slowly peek from the clouds, spreading a cool sunshine all around is like, Hmmm , cant explain in words.
